Clean the Windows Database to Improve Start Speed
Cleaning the Windows Database can have a profound effect on your start speeds. It is strongly recommended that novice users do not attempt this. Besides being quite time consuming, there is a great chance of accidentally removing important parts of the Database, which could cripple a system.
